Planning and Maintaining the Built Environment Level 1 / 2 Award (QAN - 601/1271/2) is designed to support learners in developing an awareness of the key issues surrounding the successful planning and maintenance to ensure sustainable, safe, comfortable and less costly built environments. It mainly supports learners in schools and colleges who want to learn about the construction industry from the sustainability and maintenance perspective. It provides learners with a broad introduction to how the built environment is maintained and the types of career opportunities available.
