As part of our co-construction approach to the development of a new suite of GCSEs and related qualifications, we are committed to offering channels to collect constructive feedback and insight from a range of valued stakeholders.
We work closely with stakeholders from across Wales and beyond throughout our qualification development process. Collecting and reviewing the opinions and insight offered by our stakeholders is an integral part of our approach. We consider the views of a wide range of specialists including educationalists, unions, government departments, learners and much more.
Our Advisory Groups
We have established several advisory groups who will inform and support the development of our qualifications:
Qualification Development Advisory Group (DAG):
Over 170 teaching staff from over 100 Welsh schools, sharing their experiences to inform the development process. These members will support our goal of delivering new qualifications that support the Curriculum for Wales alongside meeting the needs of all learners and practitioners.
Headteacher Advisory Group:
A panel consisting of senior leaders and additional external consultants from a range of Welsh educational institutions, specialised in the governance and management of our schools.
