WJEC Sponsors Learner Awards Ceremony
A huge congratulations to the winners of Coleg y Cymoedd’s Learner Awards Ceremony 2024.
We were delighted to celebrate the amazing achievements of Coleg y Cymoedd’s learners at their recent Annual Awards Ceremony, held at the college’s Nantgarw campus on Wednesday 19th June.
The atmosphere was electric with proud family members, friends, teachers, and governors honouring the success of learners from all 4 campuses – Aberdare, Nantgarw, Rhondda and Ystrad Mynach.
All the learners were nominated by their tutors, recognising their effort and contribution over the past 12 months. In total, over 42 awards were presented across all curriculum areas including A levels, Construction, Childcare, Sport, and much more. Over 10,000 learners were nominated for an award, so the evening was a groundbreaking achievement.
We are delighted to announce that our sponsored awards went to:
- A Level Award: Saffron O’Sullivan-Hayball
- A Level Science Award: Isabell Pisani
