Summer 2023: Qualifications Wales confirms approach to grading

Today Qualifications Wales has published its approach to grading for the summer 2023 exams series, with the intention that results will fall broadly midway between the 2019 and 2022 results.

WJEC welcomes Qualifications Wales' announcement as it provides clarity on the summer 2023 grading policy for teachers, students and parents. We look forward to working with Qualifications Wales on the approach to grading the summer 2023 qualifications.

Please note, advance information for our GCSE, AS and A level qualifications for summer 2023 will be published in the spring term.
