Ofqual launches consultation: Vocational and Technical Qualifications, and Eduqas GCSE, AS and A levels

Have you submitted your preliminary entries? Deadline 10th October

Exam Officers can now submit entries for the June 205 series (GCE, GCSE, Level 1/2 General, Applied Certificates/Diplomas, Entry Level, Vocational Award and HSCCC) via Portal.

The deadline for preliminary entries is: 10th October

Please follow the path: ENTRIES AND REGISTRATIONS > MAKE PRELIMINARY ENTRIES > select the relevant qualification

Please note that preliminary entries must be received for the following subjects in order for centres to receive hard copies of the materials required for these early assessments:

  • WJEC GCE and GCSE Art and Design
  • WJEC GCSE Geography (Fieldwork Enquiry)
  • WJEC GCSE Science and Applied Science (Practicals and task based assessments)
  • WJEC GCE Science (Practical examinations)

Why submit preliminary entries?

Preliminary entries are used to calculate the despatch of exam stationery, pre-release materials and early exam papers to centres. Preliminary entries are also used in planning for subjects requiring visiting examiners (e.g. Drama, Design and Technology, MFL and Music).

It’s important that they are submitted as accurately as possible and by the 10th October deadline.

Thank you for your support and co-operation.
