GCSE, AS and A level Design & Technology Accredited
We are delighted to announce that our suite of reformed Design & Technology qualifications have been accredited by Ofqual, for first teaching from this September for use in England.

Our GCSE, AS and A level specifications consist of two components:
- Design and Technology in the 21st Century – students will develop their knowledge and understanding of technical principles, and designing and making principles.
- Design and make task – students will design and create a product based on a contextual challenge. This will showcase students' knowledge, understanding and skills when designing and making prototypes.
Our specifications have been developed in consultation with teachers and subject leaders. Where appropriate, content has been retained and refined from the current WJEC specifications. This will enable teachers to build on good practice and to continue to use a number of their current teaching resources.
